Sunday Services

UCF Sunday Service

It’s great to have you here – we are United Church Ferndown (UCF). We have weekly Sunday Worship service at 10.30am. We also live stream and post our services online, use this link to our YouTube handle @UnitedChurchFerndown to see what we do.

We are a Baptist and United Reformed Church partnership, and we strive to create a friendly atmosphere, offering a welcome to visitors and newcomers to the area. We serve the local community and maintain strong links with the wider church locally and abroad. We are a church in and for the community, involved in a wide range of local activities.

In our Sunday services we explore relevant Bible teaching that can be applied to our daily lives and this underpins the life of our church. We combine an emphasis on prayer and active service within the life of the Church and the community. You can expect a warm welcome; relevant preaching based in the Word of God and a mix of contemporary and traditional Christian worship music.

Now, the practical stuff...

We meet at:
United Church Ferndown
505 Wimborne Road East
Ferndown
Dorset
BH22 9NF

  • There is parking available on the site.
  • We welcome families with young children and have some comfy sofas at the front where parents or care givers can be part of the service and keep little ones occupied.
  • Children stay with their parent or grown-up at the start of the service as we worship (sing songs) together for the first part of the morning. At some point someone will announce that it’s time for the younger members to 'skedaddle'. For more information about what happens in the children's work please use this link to visit the Children's Ministry page.
  • We want our young people to be involved in Church life and they can stay in the service from 13+.
  • After the main meeting finishes there is always an opportunity for prayer if needed.
  • After the main meeting finishes...we serve tea and coffee.
